NYC 101
Hey guys! I would have posted more photos but its all in Lin's camera. For now i can only post some but I hope you guys can get some taste of NYC. Cant really take pictures of the view with me in it since im alone for most of this week.

Cant really take pictures of the view with me in it since im alone for most of this week.Ok, the room pictures are taken in Sureen's house in Hoboken, NJ. The statue of Roosevelt and Dinasours was taken at American Museum of Natural History on 81st Street Uptown West Manhatan (the one they showed on The Nanny's Diary!). Next to the museum is the Central Park which is HUGE. The ones where there are ducks.

Time of the year again... for the Marizan Family
As yall know, my parents has married off 2 daughters in 2 years.
And now, the third daughter's time has come. Can you believe it, three years in a row of weddings.
But im afraid i might be breaking the chain. (Oppssss)
So anyway, its not about me this post is about my sister.
Its the time of the year again for my family and I thank Allah for the blessing he has given upon my family.

Time to reflect
So many things to say but somehow couldn't find the time to write. Was wondering whether you ppl are still up for the next semester (Sem 1 08/09) to start? Have you guys get so caught up with work that y'all are starting to get hung up over it? I actually have more questions. Been doing a lot of thinking lately. Well, since after lack of Dr. Arif's strive to wake up, I only know about the world occasionally, which I find, slowly, I'm turning into a loser for that.
However, seeing and observing the lives of others (ppl I know and don't) have always been, to my philosophical mind (he he), is one of the integral part of learning. I did use the word 'see' and 'observe' cause I don't think I need so much of those two to retrieve whats obvious (only at times intense questioning and investigation are used on a particular subject).
I've just learnt that I hate the guys that doesn't go for Friday prayers, esp. when they have the cheat and nerve to show up in public yet feel good about it. Most give the excuses like 'i am working, no choice'. As much as I hate that, I just realized that I am doing the same kind of crime by showing up in public not wearing a 'hijab'. To reason, both acts are accountable in the humiliation of the divine name of Islam even though the punishment is not of the same kind, and what is worst is that we are showing, giving the impression to Muslims and Non-Muslims that it is OK to do what we do . and so will our generation and the generation after.
How could I be so blind and throw all sorts of accusations at these ppl when I am also committing what my mind perceive as 'cemarkan nama suci Islam'? I know this is a simple kind of observation, and I am pretty sure all of you have figured it before me, but I will still write it as drastically I feel like a minor. as I thought I have always known to throw relevant, solid facts/reasons behind my every accusation or my every dislike.. turns out I am far from learning the right 'think'.
My journey to discovery is nothing close to reaching its peak. This shall be continued..

i'm assuming most of u have received a message from a friend of ours, rafiah firdaus. she's having a house warming thingy this sunday (18 May).
Hopefully we can all make it so that we can take that opportunity to meet up and catch up on things. Here are the details:
